CEDAM's AmeriCorps - Wayne Metro CAA

As a statewide support organization, CEDAM strives to help our more than 250 member organizations do their jobs better. CEDAM's ten VISTA members serve statewide to advance anti-poverty initiatives at the local level. Our twenty AmeriCorps State members do direct service and provide direct financial empowerment services. In addition to rewarding day-to-day activities, CEDAM views AmeriCorps service as a pathway to nonprofit employment. We provide comprehensive soft skills and community development 101 trainings throughout the year that ensures members are ready for what's next after service. In addition, members have access to a statewide network and the opportunity to attend professional conferences during their service terms. Join us in creating vibrant Michigan communities.
