Member Duties : Wayne Metro is seeking three AmeriCorps members to serve as Financial Empowerment members who will work as a team, with each member choosing a project/task they want to lead. These include but are not limited to,
Increase organizational capacity to deliver financial education and services to all of our clients.
The MFOC-Financial Empowerment member will increase housing stability for low-income Wayne County homeowners by assisting them to apply for programs such as the Property Tax Exemptions.
The AmeriCorps member will help coordinate and provide financial education both on-line and in-person (once safe), including our annual Show Me The Money Day event.
The AmeriCorps member will promote savings to individuals seeking taxes and coaching services at Wayne Metro.
