Member Duties : CEDAM’s AmeriCorps State members build financial stability in their communities. The position at Metro Community Development includes hosting financial education workshops, hosting community resource fairs, individual financial stability work.
This member will also plan and facilitate financial education trainings and workshops for clients and the community. Members may also provide marketing and outreach assistance to drive attendees to workshops, trainings or one-on-one sessions.
Finally, the position requires helping community members with individual financial literacy services. The member will work directly with clients to provide resource information, schedule appointments with counselors, assemble paperwork, direct clients to other resources and provide follow up as needed.
