Member Duties : This member will also plan and facilitate financial education trainings and workshops for clients and the community. Members may also provide marketing and outreach assistance to drive attendees to workshops, trainings or one-on-one sessions.
Additional tasks include planning and orchestrating a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance site(s) within their community. Members will recruit volunteers, coordinate sites and market the opportunity to the community.
Finally, the position requires helping community members with individual financial literacy services. The member will work directly with clients to provide resource information, schedule appointments with counselors, assemble paperwork, direct clients to other resources and provide follow up as needed.
