CDFY Fund Development VISTA
 
 
 
Assess the current state of drug prevention collaboration efforts within mid Missouri and help create solutions that promote collaboration to improve effectiveness and sustainability. Set up outreach systems and develop partnerships with community organizations, local businesses, and public education institutions to increase fund development to support the Opioid Coalition Resource Hub. Develop informational marketing materials to sustain fund development. Develop and implement media campaign for Over The Edge Program for mid Missouri. Help implement the Opioid Summit task forces in collaboration with InsightVisions for Cole County to sustain the Opioid Summit efforts. Document efforts in the CDFY evaluation tool and fund development tool to ensure effective communication of VISTA contribution as well as organizational efforts to reduce opioid dependency and drug use in Cole County and mid Missouri. CDFY Outreach Coordinator VISTA will be responsible for helping coordinate large scale community events, including an Opioid Summit, Over the Edge, and other community events as well as ensuring media engagement. This person should possess demonstrable organizational abilities, task-management, media, and communication skills, both written and verbal. They will be provided numerous opportunities to work independently on projects, coordinate community strategy teams, fundraising activities, marketing updates to local media outlets, and collaborate on the final report to be distributed to all local partners. Informative updates, volunteer opportunities, and successes will also be maintained on the CDFY website (www.jccdfy.org). VISTA will also work closely with the media and coordinate distribution of press releases to all relevant media outlets throughout the project.

VISTA will work closely with local and national funders throughout the project. VISTA will also engage in assisting on grant writing, reviewing and reporting to help ensure sustainable funding.
