The UNH STEM Discovery Lab is a partnership between UNH Manchester and UNH Extension. We design and implement STEM education pathways for at-risk and underrepresented youth in grades K-12 by providing training and professional development opportunities to educators from around the state with a primary focus on Manchester and Nashua. We utilize the vast network of professionals from Extension, UNH Manchester and UNH Durham to provide high quality and current STEM education to educators who then either volunteer or are hired to teach our community based STEM programs to youth. We partner with community organizations such as YMCA, Boys and Girls Club, 21st Century Community Learning Centers, 4-H, and several school districts. Our adult and youth programs are based on the UNH Manchester campus, as well as out in the community.
