Immigration Project - Volunteer Coordinator Bloomington

The Immigration Project is a small, dynamic immigration legal aid organization located in Normal, Illinois with a satellite office in Champaign, Illinois. The agency is the only non-profit immigration legal services agency located in downstate Illinois with immigration attorneys on staff. Serving clients in 86 counties outside of the Chicago/Cook County area, the Immigration Project has an impact on communities across central and southern Illinois. The organization keeps families together, helps individuals become permanent residents and U.S. citizens, defends against deportations, and represents survivors of trauma and domestic violence in obtaining protection and work authorization. The organization is committed to creating a respectful work environment where each individual is able to thrive, grow, and learn while working towards a common cause - providing high quality legal services to individuals unable to afford it otherwise. More information on the organization can be found at http://www.immigrationproject.org.
