Iowa College Aid’s mission is to support Iowans as they explore, finance and complete educational opportunities beyond high school to increase family and community success. Through our Course to College – College Success AmeriCorps program, we provide first-year college students assistance to ensure their college success. College Success AmeriCorps provides members an opportunity to make a difference in the students' lives, all while gaining work experience valuable across many career fields.

Member Duties : AmeriCorps members will serve as College Success Coaches to support first-year college students as they adjust to college life. Coaches will focus specifically on Future Ready Iowa scholarship and grant recipients, ensuring they complete scholarship- or grant-eligibility requirements. Success coaches will collaborate with community organizations and our high school program coaches to promote the scholarship and grant opportunities to high school students and ensure a smooth transition from high school to college. Members will receive training and professional/personal development during term of service.
