The Maryland Out of School Time Network has built a strong reputation as an effective and valued partner through our policy, quality, and capacity building work. Building on this success MOST will work to engage our constituents and partners to build a comprehensive communications plan that will clarify our mission build consistent and compelling messages designed to broaden our reach and build new champions. This work will occur in two phases including assessment/landscaping; and development and implementation of branding and message development.

Member Duties : Phase 1: Assessment & Landscaping • Conduct survey of the field to augment both our online map as well as understanding of overall landscape of out-of-school time. • Research and identify new youth development organizations, as well as organizations that may operate in connected areas (SEL, workforce development, restorative justice) which have not yet connected to the network. • Convene key stakeholder groups to more deeply examine the MOST brand and understand how our current partners view the network. • Research the structures, brands, and messages of other statewide afterschool networks and national and local analogs of organizations that serve similar functions as intermediaries. Phase 2: Branding & Message • Begin process to reassess our overall brand, including visual representation as well as overall network messaging • Create new marketing material and collateral with new brand and/or new brand messaging • Produce comprehensive communication plan/handbook
