Community Development Coordinator

Norwescap is a large not-for-profit organization that helps create opportunities and change lives of over 30,000 people each year. The organization currently operates a diverse range of programs designed to prevent homelessness, increase access to affordable housing and promote the development of vibrant communities, but data reveal that much more needs to be done. This VISTA member will help build Norwescap's capacity by obtaining and analyzing community data, investigating opportunities and strategies for affordable housing, supporting the development of tax credit proposals and designing community engagement activities. All this work will enhance the existing infrastructure and open up opportunities for sustainability in new areas.
