This VISTA position is in charge of refining our volunteer onboarding process as well as developing ongoing trainings to support volunteers in the long term and prevent burn out. The VISTA will also look at financial resources to support ongoing volunteer management. Lastly, the VISTA will look at increasing our marketing and outreach capacity to raise community awareness about this volunteer opportunity and bring in new volunteers. Overall, after this one-year VISTA experience the Volunteer Programs Specialist will have experience in all aspects of running volunteer programs, from onboarding and retention to funding to marketing and outreach, this position will strengthen all aspects of Chore’s volunteer program.
