Virginia Housing Alliance VISTA – Piedmont Housing Alliance
 
 
 
Piedmont Housing Alliance’s (PHA) mission is to create affordable housing opportunities and foster community through education, lending, and equitable development. We seek to expand the impact and quality of our housing opportunities and services through this capacity building initiative focused on 1) collaboration and technology to improve housing navigation for low-income renters, and 2) green, healthy, and sustainable building. The result will be a greater impact providing high-quality affordable housing for clients and the community. Specific project objectives are to 1) develop green building goals, guidelines, policies and procedures for both housing development and property management/maintenance, and 2) research and recommend opportunities to increase client service delivery effectiveness and impact with technology, including a housing navigation project. PHA is in search of a VISTA to build capacity by implementing best practices and innovations in sustainable green housing dev elopement and property management, and in technologies for optimal client service effectiveness and impact.

Member Duties : The VISTA will expand and strengthen agency’s financial resources by identifying new grant, fundraising, and resource opportunities aligned with goals of sustainability/green building and technology innovations for service effectiveness. The VISTA member will also develop communications with housing partners and catalog best practices and policies in sustainable/green housing development. Additionally, you will collaborate with housing partners and explore technologies to improve service effectiveness and impact.
