Do Good Bus - VISTA

Do Good Bus promises altruistic adventurism by bringing people together in a fun and social environment. We connect good people with community and purpose. Our mission is to bring visibility and accessibility to the causes that help our city, our neighbors, and friends. Our goals include community, where we aim to prove the power of working together with a shared purpose of making a difference, and social impact, where we hope the Do Good Bus experience will inspire passengers to keep doing good - at home, work, and their community.

Member Duties : As a VISTA member, you will help Do Good Bus build our capacity in numerous ways as we serve various organizations, schools, and community parks in the low income areas of Los Angeles. Major functions will include 1.) Researching and/or establishing new opportunities that need most support. 2.) Developing a volunteer engagement plan that includes recruitment, retention, and appreciation of volunteers who participate in the rides. 3.) Coordinating volunteer activities 4.) Marketing of programs, sponsorship and volunteer opportunities.
