Community Enrichment Center Community Engagement VISTA
 
 
 
Our vision at the Community Enrichment Center (CEC) is to break the cycle of poverty and family violence. For 30 years, the CEC has been a partner in change to our Northeast Tarrant low-income neighbors. The CEC has continued to grow and expand our services to serve victims of family violence, homeless and low-income families and individuals across Tarrant County. Today, the CEC works directly with these families and individuals to move them out of crisis and into stability through employment readiness, high school equivalency, financial coaching, counseling, safe housing, food and basic necessities. The Community Engagement VISTA will increase visibility of the CEC and its entities through digital and print brand development, develop relationships with community leaders, organizations and the media, implement marketing strategies and encourage volunteerism. Member Duties : The Community Engagement VISTA will increase visibility of the CEC and its entities through digital and print brand development, develop relationships with community leaders, organizations and the media, implement marketing strategies and encourage volunteerism. Major duties include: •Research best practices to recruit, retain and recognize a volunteer base to ensure volunteer sustainability •Develop a comprehensive brand management process (website, social media, print) •Develop relationships with community leaders and media to publicize CEC services and encourage volunteerism •Develop and implement marketing strategies for Second Glance Resale Shop •Create a story bank of client testimonials and stories
