Digital Harbor Foundation-Baltimore Rec-to-Tech

The Digital Harbor Foundation (DHF) works with Baltimore youth to teach maker and computer science skills that lead to high-growth careers. Established 6 years ago in the former South Baltimore Rec Center, DHF is a nationally-recognized program model and which has been featured at major events (including the 2014 White House Maker Faire and 2015 and 2016 White House Science Fairs) as well as the subject of a documentary film series by Legendary Films (Make It Work) released in 2019. Through a partnership with Baltimore City Recreation and Parks Department, this program created by DHF is now expanding across Baltimore into six community rec centers. The position will support this growth and provide a critical support structure to ensure these programs are successful throughout their initial implementation phase. Additionally, this position will further develop the capacity and reach of the programs by making presentations at community events, meetings, and gatherings to share information about the opportunity and impact of the Baltimore Rec-to-Tech Program.
