SOTS - Her Many Voices Fndn Grants Research Coordinator
 
 
 
Provide opportunity for local native youth to develop agricultural skills and learn more about their cultural history of agriculture. Research, draft and submit grants for a youth focused trade skills program focused on sustainable agriculture. Outreach to local native communities to identify youth communities and groups that would be best served by this project. Create a program plan that brings trade skills and cultural understanding to native youth.

Member Duties : 1. Get familiar with local native community and activities. 2. Identify native youth program needs. 3. Identify culturally appropriate presenter for the program. 4. Continue project based on identified youth needs. 1. Familiarize self with native youth and native youth needs. 2. Attend community gatherings and groups where youth will be to engage them about the project. 3. Create a list of potential youth participants for the program. 4. Continue project based on identified youth needs.
