Community Partner Engagement Leader
The Community Partner Engagement Leader (Leader) participates in a yearlong term of service (1,700 hours) supporting the Community Partner Program (CPP) at Hands On Nashville (HON), which builds capacity for individuals and agencies to meet needs through volunteerism. The Leader aids the CPP team in providing technical assistance, training, and recruitment support to partnering nonprofits, schools, and civic organizations. The candidate should have strong interpersonal and customer-service skills, be comfortable with public speaking, and be able to translate data and feedback into new ideas in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment. The Hands On Nashville AmeriCorps Program engages civic-minded individuals in yearlong terms of public service. AmeriCorps members are part of a 17-person cohort that receive skills training, professional development, and networking opportunities through a partnership between HON and participating AmeriCorps Program agencies. HON does not discriminate based on age, gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, or other factors which deny the essential humanity of all people.
