Resource Development VISTA, STORMFORCE

STORM FORCE is a newly formed community partnership in Socorro, NM, that promotes mentoring, STEM skill development, and a culture of lifelong learning. STORM FORCE promotes education, hands-on learning, supportive relationships, and career building. It encompasses all activities and supporting organizations with this objective. Given the broad scope, the main goal for this project is to build a sustainable infrastructure for STORM FORCE to achieve its mission.

Member Duties : As the Resource Development VISTA, you will build sustainable infrastructure to coordinate all activities that support our mission. The specific areas for infrastructure development include fundraising, grant writing, implementing assessment strategies to measure program efficacy for planning and grant reporting. You will also develop systems and tools that enhance our volunteer management process by facilitating communication and connections among community partners, and developing and implementing new volunteer management systems.
