'19-'20 Community Partnership Developer VISTA

For over 109 years, Tacoma Community House has been supporting vulnerable populations in the Tacoma Pierce County area and beyond with comprehensive services focused on self-sufficiency, inclusion and advocacy. These programs lift individuals and families out of poverty, provide opportunities for individuals to fully engage in their community, and provide quality employees to local employers. We accomplish this through dedicated staff and over 400 generous volunteers. The VISTA will be a member of United Way of Thurston County’s VISTA team, made up of 19 other VISTA members. The UWTC VISTA team is supported by the VISTA Leader, who coordinates professional development opportunities, provides individualized support and resources, and supports the program’s success.
