THN VISTA Homeless Community Training (Austin)
 
 
 
The Texas Homeless Network (THN) works to provide solutions to end homelessness in Texas communities through education, resources, and advocacy. Currently, THN has VISTA members placed throughout the state working on capacity building and program development to assist communities in ending homelessness. This VISTA project will continue to raise awareness and help change conversations and perceptions around sexual assault/exploitation, child abuse and domestic/dating violence through community outreach and engagement, with a focus on Latinx communities.

Member Duties : [ Note: Fluency in Spanish is required ] In this project, you will continue to raise awareness and help change conversations and perceptions around sexual assault/exploitation, child abuse and domestic/dating violence through community outreach and engagement, with a focus on Latinx communities. You will enhance and further support current partnerships, build new partnerships, gain new resources, and enhance the capacity of Latinx and Spanish-speaking communities to address the common goal of preventing and effectively responding to sexual assault/exploitation, child abuse and domestic violence.
