| Member Duties : The summer associate serving with City of Garden City will work on food programs and financial education workshops in the department of community resources which provides food and resources for low-income residents. The summer associate will recruit volunteers to serve within the department to increase service capacity. In addition, the summer associate will provide outreach in the community, ensuring that families are aware of the variety of programs the department offers. Finally, the summer associate will work to provide financial education services to food-programming clients.
