Member Activity: Enhance VISTA project and member effectiveness, project compliance,and organizational development. 1) Enhance project and member effectiveness by conducting regular training and development. 2) Support members in completing their assignments and providing technical support. 3) Monitor and support member’s monthly reporting. 4) Create new systems and practices to help streamline effective reporting and compliance. 5) Provide initial and ongoing training and communication with site supervisor’s to ensure VISTA assignments are in compliance and promote VISTA member success thus creating systems to support member retention.6) Archive all significant materials created and document all procedures for implementing the creation of a sustainability manual. 7) Suggest changes to the program based on challenges and successes of VISTA experiences. 8) Conduct member and site supervisor assessments and surveys to help strengthen the overall project efficacy. 9) Provide ongoing support to VISTA site supervisors and improve resources for site supervisors. . 9) Provide orientation and technical training for all site supervisors to ensure understanding and compliance on the roles and duties of VISTA members and effectively supporting the success of VISTA members. 10) In collaboration with VISTA members and staff, create and implement a written plan for project sustainability. 11) Evaluate and report on the OnSite Orientation Training and ongoing development training for both VISTAs and site supervisors,defining and suggesting changes to be made.
