| Member Duties : The Summer Associates will assist certified teachers in the implementation and facilitation of the reading curriculum; guide the academic and social development of children ensuring a safe, enriching, and healthy environment; and assist the Site Director in the planning, implementation and facilitation of enrichment curriculum and activities including introducing skills in arts, music, physical activity, character development, STEM, nutrition education, and family engagement. Furthermore, the Summer Associates will guide the academic and social development of children ensuring a safe, enriching, and healthy environment; assist the Site Director in the planning, implementation and facilitation of a parent/child workshop to increase family engagement in student literacy, and guide small groups of parents and children in activities.
