| Member Duties : The Summer Associate will support the library staff by planning and implementing programs for school children. This will include hands-on activities related to science, technology, art, engineering and mathematics. (STEAM). Most of the activities will take place on the Bozeman Public Library Bookmobile, but activities at the library may be a possibility. The Summer Associate will assist library staff with summer programming, including the Summer Reading Program (for children and adults). For the Summer Reading Program, the Summer Associate will lead story times and craft activities, as well as track Summer Reading Logs and help out with associated tasks. The Summer Associate will assist library staff in marketing Bookmobile services and other library related services by creating flyers, door hangers and other informational materials. The Summer Associate will assist library staff in promoting library services and helping patrons sign up for library cards during special events.
