CRC Regional Engagement Associate
CRC's mission is to create opportunities, tools and strategies to develop nonprofits and community groups to strengthen Colorado. Nonprofit organizations play an important role in improving the quality of life in Colorado. Through CRC’s statewide programming, VISTA members will gain a broad understanding of Colorado’s nonprofit sector and the state’s many unique rural communities. The VISTA will work closely with rural and statewide nonprofits who offer an array of services from addressing basic human needs to environmental sustainability. VISTAs will provide resources, services and collaborative opportunities for rural nonprofit organizations and conduct outreach to community stakeholders and potential funders to increase the viability of nonprofit efforts. VISTAs will learn about regional specific issues and needs, as well as how to successfully address regional issues by assisting local nonprofit organizations. The CRC VISTA program creates a lasting positive impact in rural Colorado communities by supporting organizations that address basic needs, transitional housing and poverty alleviation. The Regional Engagement Associate will support CRC’s rural program team and will provide hands-on support for our bi-annual Rural Philanthropy Days conferences held in rural Colorado communities.
