Partnership 4 Kids is a goal setting and group mentoring program that builds hope for student in our community and helps them create a foundation for success from kindergarten to careers. Partnership 4 Kids (P4K) is a youth mentoring organization that is committed to helping youth in our community build and maintain foundations for success. Through our partnership with Omaha Public Schools and several area colleges and universities we teach kids and young people that through goal setting, education and the right resources there is no limit to what they can achieve. Member Duties : Provide case management to students in college & careers areas while supporting mentor matches. Position housed at P4K downtown/OPS HS partners • Facilitate workshops in areas related to goal setting, career development, job readiness, community service & college planning • Assist w/ mentor matching process, match support & closure to promote success & goal achievement • Provides case management & retention support using academic & truancy interventions, partner program referrals & wrap-around support • Coordinate college visits, career tours, job shadows & internship opportunities • Facilitate appropriate career interest inventories to promote college & career path planning • Promote engagement & graduation through coordination of special events including incentive parties, program completion celebrations, field trips & workshops • Track & document student progress & services delivered in database • Assist w/ coordinating summer programs & some transporting of students
