Volunteer Engagement VISTA- Family Promise of Pulaski County

FPPC is looking to secure a Volunteer Engagement VISTA with an out-going personality, who interacts well when meeting new people, is organized, has good leadership qualities, works well independently, takes initiative, and has an engaging and empowering nature. The Volunteer Engagement VISTA will oversee all volunteer activities associated with Family Promise including being the liaison between the host and support congregations' coordinators, clergy, congregational volunteers, the FPPC Board and staff. The Volunteer Engagement VISTA will be the point person for the host and support congregations and will be responsible for developing the schedule of hosting (sheltering families), ensure congregations has trained volunteer staff to manage the shelter, and that sufficient amount of food and supplies are needed to fulfill hosting weeks. They will communicate information with congregations about the families coming to their facility.
