Member Duties : Native Food Sovereignty Summer Associates will work closely with their site supervisors and communities to develop appropriate projects. Some of those duties include: Seeding, harvesting, and maintaining community garden spaces; maintaining cultural and medicinal garden spaces; engaging community members in workshops on how to develop their own garden spaces, prepare medicines for winter storage, and utilize traditional harvesting practices of traditional foods.
