2020-2021 Project & Evaluation Coordinator

Milwaukee Succeeds (MKE-S) is continuing the capacity building of K-12 success by supporting scale of projects that align with high school graduation indicators (3rd grade reading, 8th grade math, and high school success). There are 292 K-12 schools in Milwaukee that break down into three categories of public, charter, and private schools (WIDPI, 2014). Milwaukee Succeeds needs help building capacity in creating ownership of these methods across the different types of schools for engaged success. This VISTA project will work on sustainability of our education initiatives by examining methodology and structural impediments to student success. They will work closely with goal managers, network partners, and school leaders on establishing best practices for intervention and whole student approach to success as well as examining the barriers to implementation. This will involve creating strong communication tools, developing engagement strategies, measuring impact, and developing strategies for scale.
