2019–Corp. Skilled Workforce–Pathways to Employment MNA
 
 
 
Are you interested in expanding opportunity to low-income communities by exploring workforce development programs in Michigan? Corporation for a Skilled Workforce (CSW) is a mission driven policy, research, and consulting organization that does work for a range of foundation and public-sector clients at the national, state and local levels in workforce, economic and community development. As a VISTA with CSW, you will provide research support for projects, support technology implementation to improve the organizations impact, and support CSW’s work in workforce and economic development in Michigan. This work will impact policy and programs so they best meet the needs of low-income communities and create a pathway out of poverty.

Member Duties : • Conduct secondary demographic research and present findings. • Conduct a scan of workforce training programs in Michigan. • Utilize Constant Contact and Salesforce to identify ways to increase efficiency. • Conduct primary workforce research through attending and transcribing focus group sessions.
