'20-'21 Mental Health Data & Comms. VISTA- GCBHV- GC Schools
 
 
 
Are you ready to alleviate poverty and help provide increased access to services related to mental health in Upstate South Carolina? In the fourth year of the Greenville County Behavioral Health (GCBH) VISTA program, a multi-skilled individual will serve as the Mental Health Data and Communications VISTA for one of the largest districts in the country. This position has an opioid and a mental health focus. Greenville, South Carolina continues to receive national and international recognition for its southern charm, opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts, arts scene, sports culture, and cuisine. Greenville has been lauded by The New York Times as one of the 52 cities in the world to visit, by USA Today as one of the 10 best emerging destinations, and as one of America’s ten best downtowns for its combination of revitalized commercial and park space. Greenville is located at the base of the Blue Ridge mountains. This position is eligible for a gym membership to a specific local facility and a housing stipend to be paid directly to the landlord.

Member Duties : The Mental Health Data and Communications VISTA (Mental Health and Opioid Focused) will develop and refine systems for Greenville County students and families relating to behavioral health and substance abuse services by creating and contributing to systems of data collection/analysis, communication, and outreach. This work will allow the district to better coordinate a strategic model of behavioral health support for all students.
