Louisville Girls Leadership Curriculum & Retention VISTA

Louisville Girls Leadership creates an immersive experience in which high school girls develop meaningful skills and relationships. As members of an inclusive community, girls amplify their societal impact, becoming exceptional leaders in their world. Members of Louisville Girls Leadership are passionate about creating innovative solutions to Louisvilleā„¢s most pressing problems. LGL supplements this passion by providing access to invaluable tools to develop participants into multidimensional leaders to help accomplish their goals. By participating in Louisville Girls Leadership programming, participants who are currently living in poverty will participate in interactive sessions focused on helping them follow a path to higher education, civic engagement, and meaningful careers. Our peer education model has an ultimate goal of providing resources and supports to students living in poverty, they they might not have had access to otherwise, that will lift them out of poverty or break the generational cycle of poverty.
