2019-2020 Membership and Development VISTA

Work with statewide coalition to increase and preserve the supply of decent, affordable, accessible housing in Illinois for low-and moderate-income households. Our state is dealing with housing insecurity for homeowners and stretched demand for rental housing. Housing Action Illinois fights to expand and protect affordable housing throughout the state; we unite, educate and activate 160+ member organizations in working to alleviate poverty through housing-related services. Our VISTA will help us engage with current members, reconnect with lapsed members, and cultivate potential members, while also supporting and expand our efforts to diversify our funding through grant writing, events, and individual donors.
