2019 Continuum of Care Data & Evaluation Coordinator
 
 
 
All Chicago’s mission is to unite our community and resources to provide solutions that ensure and sustain the stability of home. All Chicago prevents and ends homelessness through four signature approaches: emergency financial assistance, community partnerships, data analytics, and training and research. Project: Increasing the efficiency and effectiveness is a vital aim of the Continuum of Care (CoC), and accurate, robust, and timely provision of evaluation and data analysis is the foundation upon which the CoC conducts quality improvement. This VISTA project will create report templates, designs, and plans by which the CoC can examine and improve its strategies. Housing allows vulnerable individuals to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness. This position is a part of the Housing Action VISTA Network, which is an AmeriCorps VISTA program managed by Housing Action Illinois since 2010. As such, this position will receive expert training, support, guidance, and networking opportunities, in addition to the traditional opportunities for AmeriCorps VISTA positions. Learn more about the program at Housing Action’s website. Ideal Candidate: Successful candidates will demonstrate commitment to preventing and ending homelessness. Ideal candidate will have skills and experience working with and reporting on data especially related to social service, public policy, or social science. This experience could have been gain in a volunteer, employment, or academic setting. Important attributes include attention to detail, written communication skills, and analytical thinking. Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Member Duties : Develop evaluation reports related to specific topics of interest for the CoC, including the report research design, data analysis plans, dissemination and communications plans, and schedule and protocol for future continuous updating of the report based on the templates created. Develop standards and plans for requesting, compiling, analyzing HMIS data which will form the backbone outcomes analysis of the reports. Identify opportunities to communicate with All Chicago staff and other relevant Continuum of Care stakeholders to identify priorities for report topics.
