Campus Compact VISTA Leader-IL
 
 
 
The Campus Compact VISTA Leaders will work to disrupt the cycle of poverty by supporting the work of up to 30 VISTAs in the field, each serving on college campuses across Illinois where they work on a variety of initiatives to address poverty in their respective communities. The goal of CC VISTA Leaders is to improve the capacity and overall experience of CC VISTAs. VISTA Leaders will track VISTA progress at their site and develop training which supports CC VISTA work. Furthermore CC VISTA Leaders will enhance VISTA recruitment by collaborating with CC service sites.

Member Duties : The Campus Compact VISTA Leaders will work as a team to support up to 80 VISTA members across the country. The IL VISTA Leaders will work with VISTAs serving at institutions of higher education across Illinois. The VL will support member recruitment efforts, data collection, reporting, communications, program development, developing and conducting training and professional development opportunities, and overall project support. VL's will conduct weekly and monthly check-in's with VISTAs, and will conduct site-visits when appropriate. Some travel required.
