VISTA Org. Practices Associate Katherine Anne Porter School
 
 
 
KAPS is different from traditional high schools in many ways. As an open-enrollment charter, we bring together young people from towns like Blanco, Wimberley, Dripping Springs, Canyon Lake, San Marcos, New Braunfels, and Austin. Students come to KAPS for many reasons including smaller classes, alternative courses, our fine arts program, an individualized approach to education as well as our restorative practice model. We utilize project-based learning to achieve our educational goals and we focus on great art, great thought, one relationship at a time.

Member Duties : Our VISTA organizational practice associate will assist and support administrators, and other team members to provide organizational planning, policies and procedures intended to help improve growth and operational systems to enable our school to serve more students. In particular, the associate will work with our development and business department to improve all functions of our school including planning for growth and developing relationships with local businesses to increase potential partners.
