Charleston Area Service Collaborative

VISTA members with the Charleston Area Service Collaborative (CASC) serve with a peer group of 25 VISTAs placed at various organizations throughout the Charleston area. Each VISTA member will be placed with a single organization for the duration of their service year. Our projects each have a specific focus, examples being helping individuals overcome homelessness, mentoring children and youth, providing services to pregnant teens, and building financial literacy skills. Visit https://sites.google.com/view/cascvista/home for more information on our projects. The vision of the project is to cultivate, strengthen, and support programs benefitting low-income citizens by building the capacity of sites to carry out and sustain their work.
