Global Game Changers Curriculum Developer VISTA
 
 
 
The Global Game Changers program endeavors to lift students out of poverty with in-school and focused out-of-school time experiences with a curriculum that promotes social-emotional development, leadership growth, and academic achievement. The VISTA will support our project by expanding the curriculum and tools to complete curricula needed for a 2-year cycle, and conform curricula to an external tool that supports the improvement of program quality.

Member Duties : Join a dynamic team of VISTAs to help our organization grow through curriculum development and program support. Support completion of a 2-year curriculum cycle for GGC's innovative and dynamic In-Residence Expanded Learning Program that develops social-emotional skills, leadership, project skills, and ultimately helps bring students out of poverty. Create curriculum support tools that enhance the classroom experience for Title I teachers using the in-school curriculum. Receive training in a national program quality tool and use that tool to edit and improve curriculum. A successful VISTA will have excellent writing and editing skills, attention to detail, experience working with children to inform writing, and an overall commitment to education and social-emotional growth. In addition, we are looking for great attention to detail, as well as ability to multi-task, prioritize, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
