Summer Reads - Mankato Community Ed - Mankato, MN (LitMN)

ACES is dedicated to providing enrolled children with enriching experiences in a large-group setting. The program serves students entering 1st-5th grade. Our goal is to provide children with a variety of age-appropriate activities including art, science, technology, outside play, sports, gym/group games, reading, creative play and more; offering children the opportunity to find their individual strengths and interests. *Positions are part of Literacy Minnesota’s Summer Reads program, which trains and places about 70 AmeriCorps VISTA members as K-5 children’s literacy mentors in schools, libraries and out-of-school-time programs. About half of members serve outside the Twin Cities metro.
