M:STL- Queen of Peace Quality Assurance Summer Associate 4

Since its inception in 1985, QOPC has been responding to substance use disorders through prevention, education, treatment, and housing. QOPC offers group education, recovery support, counseling, family therapy, community support, medication-assisted treatment, housing, and therapeutic daycare to over 1,000 un/underinsured women, and their children and family members annually. The Summer Associate VISTA will be responding to the opioid crisis impacting the St. Louis region by: monitoring and assisting in the facilitation of substance use group education classes, conducting client satisfaction surveys, ensuring quality assurance metrics through chart reviews, and collecting, analyzing, and entering outcome and financial data. Over the course of the summer, the VISTAs will help QOPC provide the crucial services it offers to women seeking substance use treatment.

Member Duties : The Quality Assurance Associate VISTA will work to break the cycle of substance use disorders and the opioid crisis at Queen of Peace Center by monitoring and assisting in the facilitation of substance use group education classes, conducting client satisfaction surveys, ensuring quality assurance metrics through chart reviews, and collecting, analyzing, and entering outcome and financial data. As a result of the VISTA member’s service, they will improve the quality assurance efforts of the services and programming provided to the women and children of QOPC impacted by the opioid epidemic.
