The core purpose of the Mid-Ohio Foodbank is create a hunger-free and healthier community. To end hunger one nourishing meal at a time while co-creating communities where everyone thrives. The MOF is the largest foodbank in Ohio serving 20 counties. We partner with more than 650 agencies - food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, after-school programs, and senior housing sites. We collect and distribute more than 68 millions pounds of food and grocery products annually, more than half of which is fresh Food and produce. We serve over 525,000 customers within our service area.

Member Duties : This position will be leading the way on our "Donate an Animal Project" with the hope to more than triple the number of events this year and assist us in raising funds to support the acquisition of an additional 30,000 pounds of processed proteins. Member will coordinate and attend meetings with Fair board administrators and stakeholders to secure up to 5 additional fairs this Summer. This opportunity will involve a great deal of communication with partners, donors, and other stakeholders within, and outside the Mid-Ohio Foodbank. Project management skills will be necessary to execute activities pre event, day of, and post event. A large part of the experience will involve working with and participating at local and County Fairs. Having a appreciation for the farming community, livestock and the role it plays in feeding our neighbors is a plus.
