Clermont County Opiate Task Force
The Clermont County Opiate Task Force is a 100-plus member strong committee that meets monthly to work on goals related to the opioid epidemic that has devastated our community. The Task Force has four overarching goals: to prevent opioid misuse; increase access to treatment; reduce the supply of opioids; and reduce the harm caused by the opioid epidemic. The Clermont County Opiate Task Force is looking to recruit and host a VISTA member in the role of a Community Engagement Coordinator. This will be an excellent leadership opportunity that will allow the VISTA member to do cutting edge work to address this health crisis. The VISTA member will work closely with behavioral health leaders, community leaders, government officials, criminal justice leaders, people in recovery, grass roots organizations, and community residents to strengthen and support community efforts to combat the epidemic.
