Recovery Oriented Systems of Care (ROSC) Coordinator
 
 
 
The ADM Board is located in Akron, the county seat of Summit County, Ohio. ADM is responsible for planning, funding, monitoring and evaluating prevention, treatment and support services for all residents of Summit County who may be impacted by substance use disorders and/or mental illness. We are in the process of assessing the programs and services we fund to identify any gaps and/or opportunities to insure the residents of Summit County have reasonable access to the behavioral health resources they need. You will pick up on phase two of this project, which will include implementing the recommendations made a as a result of the local assessment. In Summit County, we want to ensure that we offer a coordinated network of community-based services and supports that are family and person-centered and build on the strengths and resilience of those accessing our system. Your work will be a part of a coordinated response to community feedback to help ensure a healthy Summit County.

Member Duties : As a VISTA member at the ADM Board, you will pick up on phase two of the local ROSC evaluation to increase access and awareness of prevention, treatment and supportive services for local residents impacted by substance use disorders and/or mental illness. Major activities will include becoming familiar with the ROSC Model, the ADM system of care and following up on the projects that the current VISTA Member is working on, which will carry over into the second year. You will be responsible for finalizing recommendations and developing a plan to ensure we are intentional in addressing the needs of the community and removing any barriers. We encourage those with lived experience with to apply!
