Shawnee State University Fund Development VISTA

Shawnee State University was founded in 1986 and is making a difference in one of the most impoverished counties in Ohio, not only through our educational programs, but though community involvement. Recognizing the University’s responsibility to meaningfully engage our community, University leadership made the decision to create the Kricker Innovation Hub, located in Downtown Portsmouth with the goal of supporting entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity. This project is a bridge between our community and the resources that a state university can bring to the table. This position offers the opportunity to work on a project for which a VISTA can take a significant role in creating new programming and gaining in-depth experience.
