Appalachian SCPVP Summer Associate VISTA Project
 
 
 
Summer Associate VISTAs combat hunger and help prevent summer learning loss by delivering and distributing summer meals to children at approximately 10 sites across the South Cumberland Plateau in rural Tennessee. Summer Associates additionally serve with one or more of our community partner organizations, which range from the University of the South to the South Cumberland State Park. Depending on their assignments, Summer Associates may also design educational activities, create programming materials, assist with research, engage in community outreach and education, as well as perform hands-on volunteer work. The South Cumberland Plateau VISTA Project is a partnership between the University of the South and South Cumberland Community Fund (SCCF).

Summer Associates additionally serve with one or more of our community partner organizations, which range from the University of the South to the South Cumberland State Park. Depending on their assignments, Summer Associates may also design educational activities, create programming materials, assist with research, engage in community outreach and education, as well as perform hands-on volunteer work. The South Cumberland Plateau VISTA Project is a partnership between the University of the South and South Cumberland Community Fund (SCCF).
