UWWC Collective Impact Data VISTA

The Collective Impact VISTA will be serving at The United Way of Weld County located in downtown Greeley, Colorado. Colorado is known for being one of the sunniest states, with over 300 days of sunshine every year. The City of Greeley is situated in the Northeastern Front Range of Colorado and is experiencing rapid growth and development. Every year, Greeley is home to the “Greeley Stampede” Rodeo, the “Blues Jam” music festival, the Greeley Arts Picnic, and “Friday Fest” a free outdoor concert hosted weekly throughout the summer. United Way of Weld County (UWWC) fights for the health, education and financial stability of every person in our community. Much of the work that takes place in the UWWC Community Impact department has to do with convening and facilitating collaborative efforts to help make nonprofit work more effective, efficient and meaningful. This VISTA assignment helps UWWC become and be more strategic, effective, and accountable in all of the Collective Impact efforts that it applies to achieve this goal. This VISTA will expand UWWC capacity to research, discover, identify, establish, measure, and report on community wide Collective Impact goals. The VISTA will build capacity by improving the structure of data collecting and reporting between nonprofit’s work in Weld County. This will help people move out of poverty through more effective services.
