Palm Beach Community Services Impact Coordinator
 
 
 
Community Partners (CP) is a comprehensive community development organization in Palm Beach County, Florida. CP changes the odds for children and families facing adversity in communities facing poverty. Community Partners places AmeriCorps VISTA Members at sites throughout the county to provide capacity building to various non-profit organizations with a core mission to increase resident leadership via access to care and services which will create a pathway out of poverty.

Member Duties : In year one, the Community Impact Coordinator for Community Services will support the service areas review of existing programming by reaching out to stakeholders and residents, exploring and vetting new projects found to be a gap in services within the county, and creating publications to highlight programs. Member Duties Include: * Develop a survey to identify the current level of engagement on Dialogue to Change utilization and need and interest in sending residents through the 'Resident Leadership Boot Camp’ * Explore, vet, and pilot an online, or app-based, community calendar to ensure residents have access to resources * Explore, vet, and pilot one cohort of the Resident Leadership Boot Camp * Create ‘Pitch Packets’ for the Dialogue to Change and Resident Leadership Boot Camp to engage stakeholders that will create additional access to resources for residents
