Chisholm Trail RSVP-EFTX Development Summer Associate VISTA
 
 
 
The Epilepsy Foundation Texas (EFTX) West Texas branch is located in Lubbock, Texas. EFTX leads the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures and save lives. Established in 1983, the Epilepsy Foundation Texas-Houston/Dallas-Fort Worth/West Texas provides a number of programs and services, including: public and professional education and awareness programs, camp and recreation programs for people with epilepsy and their families and specialized medical care throughout the state. The Development Summer Associate VISTA will assist with four major West Texas Events to raise awareness and financial support by requesting sponsorships and in-kind donations for the major events. As an EFTX Summer Associate VISTA you will be part of a cohort coordinated by the AmeriCorps VISTA North Texas project at Chisholm Trail RSVP, Inc. Member Duties : The Epilepsy Foundation Texas Development Summer Associate VISTA will assist with four major West Texas Events to raise awareness and financial support for their medical clinics, education programs and summer camps. Major Duties Include: • Obtain auction items and sponsorships from past donors for each event • Research additional area businesses and services appropriate to sponsor an event or provide an in-kind donation. • Submit requests for sponsorships and in-kind donations • Create marketing materials to be used across print, digital and social media The EFTX Fund Development Summer Associate position will begin May 20, 2019 and is located in Lubbock, TX.
