Member Duties : The VISTA will be working to improve communication, coordination and transparency within the refugee resettlement community. They will spend time integrating themselves into the community to gain a greater understanding of the resources available to both refugees and case managers. These resources will then be coordinated to be uploaded onto the Refugee & Immigrant Service Providers Network website which you will play a key part in developing and maintaining. This project will include collecting existing public resources, meeting with community members around the state and establishing an events calendar. In the end, the assignment will create a stream lined process for sharing public resources with the community and will provide community members with a centralized location to share information, events and contact information with the community.
