CCMA Grover Essentials and Beyond

Research has shown that food insecurity is a reality that many students face and students at USG are no exception. Students who study at USG meet many of the characteristics that have been found to put college students at higher risk such as financial aid need, income level, age, work schedule, transferring from a community college, and race. Grover Essentials, aims to increase awareness of the prevalence of food insecurity, provide a variety of food and essentials items that can alleviate food and basic need insecurity and connect students to local community resources, education, and information that could have a positive impact on students’ long term financial and personal health.
