| Member Duties : The CCMA AmeriCorps VISTA serving at Towson University as part of the “Supporting Returning Citizens at TU” initiative will play an important role in establishing a sustainable educational program to support returning citizens in their pursuit of higher education. The CCMA-AmeriCorps VISTA will support the project’s awareness-building, outreach, training, and assessment efforts. Specifically, the CCMA-AmeriCorps VISTA member will: (1) Review research on best practices related to program goals, (2) Maintain a database on campus and community resources, (3) Conduct outreach efforts on campus and in the community, (4) Deliver presentations to campus and community groups, (5) Assist in program assessment efforts, (6) Coordinate with campus and community partners to achieve project goals, and (7) Complete an end-of-year report.
